The 2nd Annual MIT Female Founders Pitch Competition is organized by MIT Sloan graduates, Anoosheh Kalantari, Karen Tilli, and Peter Dolch. This event brings together founders, investors, industry experts, and sponsoring companies to help build a strong ecosystem for MIT Female Founders. This competition is the flagship event of the MIT Sloan Club of New York.

Event Founder & Organizer | MIT Sloan MBA '21
A graduate of MIT Sloan School of Management, Parsons School of Design, and University of Toronto Engineering School, Anoosheh has over 10 years of work experience in manufacturing, e-commerce, and supply chain management, building and running today's leading and fully vertical packaging manufacturing company in the middle east with over 40% national market share. She is the Chief Business Officer of Six Star Bulk Bag, the biggest bulk bag manufacturing company in the middle east. In 2022, she launched her own fashion design house, Anoosheh & Banafsheh. With a keen eye for design, branding, marketing, and strategy, she has designed, built, promoted, and refined powerful brands and delightful innovative products that engaged and grew a loyal customer base in a wide range of industries. Anoosheh is the Marketing, Social Media, and Tech Chair and a board member of the MIT Sloan Club of New York.

PETER DOLCH
Event Founder & Organizer | MIT SB (MIS) '88
In 1995 Peter founded TGIX, a software development company which he ran for 25 years. During that time he managed numerous global enterprise engagements for companies including Pfizer, Hewlett Packard, and Hearst Publishing, as well as helped dozens of startups get launched, incubating one to a successful exit, and taking another from idea-on-a-napking all the way through to an IPO. Four years ago he took a break from managing a consulting company to focusing on the startup ecosystem. During that time he managed a small venture fund (AEON Foundry), co-founded a medical device startup based in Switzerland (Biospectal), and worked with numerous accelerators, incubators and angel groups to help entrepreneurs in various stages of their journey. He is currently working with several startups an advisory capacity, helping with fundraising, product roadmap, technology and operational strategies.

KAREN TILLI
Event Organizer | MIT Sloan MBA '20
Karen has spent the last 15 years of her career building and scaling mission-driven, high-impact start-ups in healthcare, environmental sustainability, education, and agriculture. She has been a part of 2 early-stage teams that went on to make successful exits (one through acquisition and one through IPO). Taking on roles in Product and Operations, Karen is passionate about building teams and crafting products that will solve meaningful problems. She is a graduate of MIT’s Sloan Fellows MBA program as well as NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
